We are currently seeking a Business Development Coordinator!
The Business Development Coordinator supports sales / marketing and business development efforts, including: proposal tracking; creation of persuasive proposals, presentations and marketing material; and maintenance of systems and tools to promote overall sales/marketing efficiency and effectiveness. Business Development Coordinators work closely with senior leaders and project managers as well as the Marketing Coordinator. Work with office staff to support day-to-day sales and marketing efforts as outlined below:
TYPICAL DUTIES: The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule.
1.Identify and track new opportunity leads via client contacts, business development contacts, various websites, and networking events.
2.Network with clients and contacts to determine potential project pursuit teams (RFPs, RFQs, etc.) and reach out existing client and prospects to help secure F&T on pursuit teams..
3.Reach out to existing clients, prospects, and business development contacts to schedule business development meetings. Coordinate scheduling with client service director, market leaders, and project managers to ensure all can attend. Be available to adjust meetings should plans change.
4.Represents the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
5.Maintain opportunity pipeline for market leaders and project managers.
6.Be an active participant in Client Services Group and market based Sales Strategy meetings.
7.Prepares all qualification packages (including public project Designer Selection Board forms as applicable) for all market pursuits. In conjunction with Marketing Manager, update and maintain template qualification materials used in standard qualification packages.
8.Coordinate with Office Manager for all company events and post- event promotion on social media.
9.Coordinate with Market Leaders and Marketing Manager and update social media information on all portals.
10.Coordinate with Market Leaders and Marketing Manager and update Website information.
11.Provides Deltek marketing support as required; including maintenance of contact and prospect information, input and maintenance of leads, and input of business development activities by self, market leaders, project managers, etc.
12.Manages and distributes the company newsletters.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1.H.S diploma required, a professional degree preferred (Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing preferred) with 2+ years of experience in a related marketing role (experience in engineering, architecture, construction or related field a plus).
2.Proficient with MS Office Suite and social media outlets including Facebook and Twitter. Experience with Wordpress and Hootsuite a plus.
3.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees
