GL&V USA Inc., has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager of Quality at our Nashua, NH location.
As the Manager, Quality, you will play an integral role in assisting GL&V with the preparation and readiness needed to attain our ISO 9001:2015 certification. In partnership with the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and setting guidelines to facilitate continuous improvements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversee the operation of quality assurance and the supplier process for GL&V USA Inc.
Ensure that GL&V Products meet our Quality Management System requirements through documented standards that are aligned our Quality Policy and its best customer experience goals.
Formulate and maintain quality objectives complementary to the GL&V Quality Policy and ISO standards.
Develop and maintain the quality system, including but not limited to records retention, and data analysis to ensure consistent with ISO standards and GL&V policies and procedures.
Oversees the critical GL&V/Supplier quality and process technical support and partnering relationship to assure maximized communication and improvements take place through well documented standards.
Assist/Coach direct report in performance of their duties and ensures development of the direct reports as necessary to achieve key product quality standards, supplier performance and customer expectation goals.
Reviews supplier performance data along with on-time delivery goals measurements to provide accurate Quality Metrics to reports to Site Manager.
Provide Product/Process Quality plans to support critical component manufacturing success and cost improvement strategies.
Assure proper Corrective Action initiatives are reported and written root cause is completed and implemented by responsible party.
Ensures the development of specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with technical support and procedures to assure product standards are met uniformly from all supplies of GL&V facilities to our customers.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Supplier Management Systems, Quality Management or related field and related experience.
ISO Standard experience required.
Fifteen years previous experience or exposure to quality, manufacturing engineering disciplines involving chemical or industrial engineering, written manufacturing methods and procedures and diverse manufacturing knowledge in various materials technology.
Knowledge of AWS or ASME Welding Standards a plus
Well developed group problem solving and planning facilitation skills.
Well developed professional written and verbal communication skills which are reflective of a customer service environment.
Previous industry experience preferred.
